Horton Coles Transportation, LLC was founded in 2018 by Aurelius Coles Sr. in Oak Park, Michigan. The inspiration behind the company was deeply personal — watching his mother battle cancer while being failed by unreliable, impersonal transportation services.
Aurelius saw firsthand how much a poor transportation experience could affect not just a patient's appointment, but their spirit. He knew there had to be a better way — one rooted in genuine care, reliability, and treating every passenger the way you would want your own family treated.
What started as one family's mission has grown into a trusted NEMT provider serving Oakland, Wayne, Macomb, and Genesee counties across Michigan.
